Thanks for the response; it's the first time someone has suggested substrate. This particular animals has a shallow layer of coconut fiber (Bed-a-Beast?). To be honest, I maintain most of my Rhac's under pretty sterile conditions, i.e., no substrate.

I'll try setting up a separate cage for this female and see if the condition clears up.
