Hi Don and all,

Thank you for the information on this sad topic. I still have to say that I think the company
in question is to be held responsible for killing  these animales ( if thats what have happened).
The reason for thinking so, is that there is up to them to be updated on regulations regarding
what you can, and can not import. That goes especially for Madagascar. There have been a ban
on export from Madagascar for a long time, and a reputable dealer would know that. Still they
took the chanse to import the animales.Taken the species in concern, they knew exactly what
they were doing.
I am not ahwere of exactly how it works in US, but in Europe you have to show the authority the
export-Cites from Mad. to get the import-Cites to, for instance Sweden.I guess there is a similar
routine in US. I can get dealers on Mad. to give me paperwork on the same animales, but they
would never be approved by European authoritys for import.Especially if wildcaught. So why try ?

The whole story is very sad, will give opponents to our hobby moore fire against us.........

All the best
Magnus
