Solution -- send the baby to Grandmas house -- just kidding.  The solution is cats or pesticides.  I hate telling people that because I am for the geckos, they just don't know what they are missing!

Subject: [gecko]Got any ideas for this guy?

Here's a copy of a nice e-mail I got from a Texan with geckos in his house:

I found your contact link on the Gecko Ranch web page - I hope you can help
me answer a question: I need to remove the geckos that are in my house.

I've lived in Texas for many years and little geckos are always making
their way into the house. We haven't minded them too much and I understand
that they help get rid of insects. However, last year my wife gave birth
to twins (boy/girl) and we have another boy on the way. Today she found
our 18 month old son chewing on something - it was a gecko! Now my wife is
a rather squeamish type, so I hope even a gecko lover can understand that
she doesn't want to go through that again. She was mortified. However I
know we have several more geckos running around the house because I've seen
several different sizes.

I've searched the web several times, but haven't found any kind of trap or
other mechanism to effectively remove the little creatures from the house,
and I don't want to kill them. Everything on the web tells you how to
bring geckos INTO the house. Can you or someone in your organization tell
me if there's a trap I can use to catch geckos, and if theres an effective
bait that will attract them?

Thanks,
Dan Carey
