Looks like the 18 month old is doing a fine job of catching them, but I don't think the parents would agree.
I am assuming these are sticky toes, but even if they are ground geckos, insect/aquarium nets come to mind. I have used small critters keepers and transparent containers to trap the rocket butts that escape in my house. I slip a stiff sheet of paper or cardboard between the container and the wall and then transfer them back to their vivariums or a dixie for transport.
