<< The "Tetra" company sure didn't help prevent misinformation being passed
around, they even did a promotion and seminar on TV about salt water tanks. And
slammed heavily incompatible fish in a 5 gallon bow front which is hardly
enough space for a small goby to live in (Translating what they did on TV into
reptile terms, the reptile equivalent would beâthey grabbed a 10 gallon
tank(though they took a 5) and slammed a bearded dragon, an iguana, day geckos, leaf
tail geckos and a couple of scorpions in a bare bottom tank with cow figurines
as hiding spots).

I live about 15 minutes away from the Tetra Headquarters in Blacksburg, Va. I
went to visit them once and observed the following display/office tanks:

1. A 55 gal proudly displaying a near 3 ft Iguana iguana raised solely on
Tetra brand iguana diet.

2. What appeared to be a 30 gal shoreline vivaria (with about 6 square inches
of it being actual shore) with an adult water dragon in it (sorry but I
cannot recall the scientific name-also the water dragon was said to be a petshop
rescue).

3. A 120 gal tank with several large Oscars in it and loaded to the brim with
coral skeletons.

...and people ask me why I but my herp products online and at Home
depot/Lowes.
