Hehe. Sorry, my wrong. I should have differenciated disney and pixar (think both can make fine movies). Thanx for the info. ^_^ I hope something good comes out of these plans. :o)
PC I agree and disagree with you at the same time.. It seems I'm a lot more nave than you. ^_^ It's sad when ppl mistreat animals. There are many idiots out there who buy things on impulse. There are also many greedy companies that try to make as much money on every event as possible. However, if it's not a clownfish then a goldfish, a leopard, a rodent or another animal. It's a sad fact that unserious ppl "kill" pets. Do you think that we are protecting the animals by "hiding" some of them? The pet-trade is somewhat controlled by imports/exports/governments while the conscience of the individuals that live in the viscinity of our animal's native habitats are controlled more or less only by their parents. My opinion is that in general these movies teach children to respect animals and also to kill some of the prejudice about them. I feel that ppl in general still look at reptiles as "cold blooded" slimy and mean animals. It is my hope that our children's children will put more money and effort in saving/preserving the flora and fauna of the world than our generation has. Ugh.. That came out wrong.. I don't mean to say that we don't do shit for nature, just that.. these animated movies are viewed by ppl all around the world. PPl in many countries are taught from childhood that if they see a snake, they should kill it at once. I believe/hope that these attitudes can be changed to the better. Isn't Finding Nemo made by Pixar?? (along with Monster's Inc, Toy Story, etc, I just like to give Pixar the credit, cuz Disney stinks now...hehehe) but anyway...besides all the Land Before Times Movies, I heard on either the Disney Channel or Animal Planet that they were coming out with a new Pixar movie where the lead roles are Green Iguanas. Can't remember if they were seriously in the making of it, or just talking about it...either way, I can't wait till it happens! -Karin (obeligz, sorry for sending you two copies, I still haven't figured out why my email won't send the replies straight to the listserv instead of the individual person...) >===== Original Message From "obeligz" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ===== >I never grow too old to watch Disney movies.. >The other day I saw Finding nemo and as expected..
