but it kind of makes sense... the bigger division (between whole numbers and decimals) is marked by the bigger mark (the comma) > while some (most?) European countries use a comma i am teaching english now and read in the book that all english speaking (so also ireland and UK) countries use the same system as the US: 1,270.20 and 0.02 also british gallons are slightly larger than american ones! i one time made a lady at the petstore angry because she said the tank was 30 gallons (12x12x48), and my book (from england) said it was only 28 gallons or so! -andy __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
