LGPL, if it applies at all, would require that anyone receiving a copy
of the Work be able to replace the lgpl'd portions with modified
versions.  That just doesn't work with circuit boards.  Maybe it would
work with schematics and .pcb files, since it's "easy" to extract
and/or replace symbols/footprints.

Remember, we're not dealing with code here, we're dealing with data.
