I wouldn't say that, but its a start ;)
I got a few icons to work (Tomaz's) on my desktop, and now I realise
there are at least netlist files and footprint files to do, and that
I've not done a gattrib icon yet, nor scaled down versions of the
application icons.

Its various freedektop.org specs, so ought to work on various..
The mime stuff:
* ROX has used the system since ROX-Filer 1.3.3 (July 2002).
* GTK has support since version 2.4 (Mar 2004).
* GNOME uses the system since version 2.8 (Sep 2004).
* XFCE uses the system since version 4.2.0 (Jan 2005).
* KDE is planning to support it for their next major release.
Perhaps I have to add another way for older KDE (grr..). It is coming
soon though, if its not already: http://www.kdedevelopers.org/node/2704
I'll delegate that task to Peter B, he runs KDE, so might be in a better
position to figure it out.
The .desktop file stuff ought to be pretty widespread, as is the XDG
locations for these things. (Note to self... must fix configure to use
the XDG way of finding those locations!).
Best wishes,
