Yes, but the CC-SA Attribution license is non-free according to Debian, and GPL incompatible by the FSF (implied from googling). I don't think the real issue is GPL incompatibility, as we don't "link" our GPL code against the icons, but I appreciate the "non-free" categorisation in Debian is a blocker. As far as I see, its the requirement for attribution which is considered non-free, but IANAL.
