In the user section of the cadsoft download area the email adresses are 
there. Thus, one would be able to contact the author and ask for 
permission to reuse the symbol.

I think it's not legaly possible to convert the symbols directly 
provided by cadsoft.

We could create a second "newlib". And only add a subset of the "good" 
current symbol.
But first of all we have to define what is a good symbol. Light, heavy, 
required attributes, graphical appearance, ...
