I didn't plead for more graphical tools than we already have, that is, gschem. The only GUI option that is missing, is a special export selected option. The rest of the missing infrastructure is a set of gnucap friendly symbols and a default way to obtain a visible waveform. A set of basic analog models is a must. At the moment there seems to be no model for an opamp. Or did I miss something? Turnaround time from incremental changes to simulation results is important too. I don't care if this is achieved with a shiny GUI or with a script. I am happy with a script if I am not forced to reinvent the wheel and start from scratch myself. You are right, this spells like a need for tutorials and examples. A good manual should be regarded as important as a complete set of features. ---<(kaimartin)>--- -- Kai-Martin Knaak tel: +49-511-762-2895 Universität Hannover, Inst. für Quantenoptik fax: +49-511-762-2211 Welfengarten 1, 30167 Hannover http://www.iqo.uni-hannover.de GPG key: http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?search=Knaak+kmk&op=get _______________________________________________ geda-dev mailing list [email protected] http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-dev
