Thanks for the input.  I agree that the tools should be able to be used
standalone or with the manager without complicating things.  Yeah, having a
.pmrc or pmrc file would probably be one of the ways that this could be
handled.  I got the week off from my job so Spring Break week of hacking is
a full go.  Hopefully I get far enough to start dealing with the issue you
presented.
