I have not tried it yet. gsch2pcb has plenty since I am already familiar.

To want it, it would have a different form:  a few telltales of status along 
the edges of the UI
would be all the difference.  They would tell you which step you are at, and go 
along to the point of
replacing pcb data and ready to paste new footprints.  It would also have an 
undo feature for those times when
your new netlist caused too many needless deletions of already placed parts 
with the same footprint
just because the refdes changed.
