I think it will be an improvement. Other graphics programs I work with operate this way. With the long-standing behavior it is sometimes difficult to select the thing you want when objects overlap in gschem. When zoomed in, you may even select a large object (like a title block) that has *no* visible piece on the screen! Even for visible objects, it can be difficult to understand their extent: the target rectangle is invisible. > It represents a major change to highly user-visible > and long-standing gschem behaviour, so I'm not keen on pushing it > without > consensus. > > Thanks, > > Peter > > > -- > Peter Brett > > Electronic Systems Engineer > Integral Informatics Ltd > > > _______________________________________________ > geda-dev mailing list > [email protected] > http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-dev John Doty Noqsi Aerospace, Ltd. http://www.noqsi.com/ [EMAIL PROTECTED] _______________________________________________ geda-dev mailing list [email protected] http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-dev
