The debian packaging information (all in the debian directory) have to
be provided in the source directory to build the package. And the build
must be done on a debian system to have the right library dependencies.
However, a chroot tree should do the work.

That's not completely true. I was so free to add them recently after
checking all dependencies and building all needed files. (With some help
of dh_make.) (Version 1634)

Well, in any case the debian packaging files are hand crafted and should
do the job. However, in contrast to the package of Michal Ä~LihaÅ~Y (Do
not know how to write the name correct, sorry) there is only one package
created. This should be ok for the moment. Especially if Michal has a
complete rewritten information. We can also put the debian dir of him to
the svn. That might be ok too.

Sounds like just for rpm based packages. (?)
