Geeqie is focused on advanced users. I am not sure if making it default for new users is a good idea. I agree that the UI is not ideal and many things can be improved, but I don't want to reduce the number of features and flexibility. > I personally am quite used to the three-pane-view, mainly because I used > GQView before.
