Saya bukan pemuja Xi. Saya cuma mengagumi siapa saja atau pemimpin yg berhasil
memajukan dan memakmurkan rakyatnya. Tidak menjadi masalah apa pemimpin itu
diktaktor, kapitalis atau sosialis. Kita tidak bisa membandingkan dgn
pemerintah sebelumnya atau waktu lain sebab situasinya (external factors nya
berlainan) akan berlainan seperti membandingkan "apples with oranges". Saya

Rate 7.76%, January 2019 turun jadi 6.4%, sekarang cuman 6.2%.
Kalau melihat dari sisi ini terjadi perlambatan, atau dengan kata lain lebih
jelek dari sebelumnya. Tetapi indicator tentu bukan cuman pertumbuhan GDP,
apakah anda punya indicators lain yg menunjukkan dimasa Xi lebih baik dibanding
sebelumnya?

 kutipan:
Xi is a good president if you can see China's problems and you have common
sense. Xi is awful if you are brainwashed to believe he is and, never bother to
read a counter narrative to present a different angle to your prejudice.

Kutipan diskusi ttg kemajuan di Singapura dibawah LKY yg tidak demokratis:
Political prisoners utk menghindari kehancuran negara tertentu seperti Tiongkok.
A lot of people like to tout democracy for the success of Korea and Taiwan
amongst the 4 Asian Tigers. They neglect to mention that all the growth came
while these countries were under dictatorship.

And for some reason, they neve ever mention Singapore, by far the most
successful Tiger.

Yes, Taiwan’s growth was mainly due to the “dictatorship” of KMT. Now that
Taiwan has democracy, it is sinking fast, both economically, and morally.
Politicians only care about elections, and no tactic is too low, defaming with
an army of 1450 (Taiwan’s official wumao) spreading false news, planting phony
evidence, lie lie and lie some more, you name it. Voters seem to have lost
their ability to reason as a decent human being, and believe in lies depending
on the camp.
