I was thinking of something maybe a little more formal and prestigious, like a monetary award with a plaque, and a small committee reviewing nominations to select a recipient. Never underestimate the power a formal award has to both confer a sense of legitimacy and raise awareness of an issue. I'd be willing to donate to the funding of such an award, if a chapter or user group could be found to administer it.
