i really hate to post over and over again to the list with (dammit, its not working help me.... ) message well i plugged the laptop into the wall directly to bypass any power save settings it may be seeing by going into my battery backup unit.
I ran the Memory Test and it ran for quite a while. I even checked the laptops battery life itself ( 104 hours in standby available ) The test ran for a good 10-15 minutes.............until the machine went blank again. Thats as far as i can get. No idea what else to do related to this mem test cause the machine wont stay on. If not, I would make sure it's on AC Power. You might also check the BIOS (CAREFUL) to see if there is some mode where you can shut off Power Saving while you run the test.
