Just how much, if any will a new soundcard affect the audio of SAM and the mic audio quality? I use a USB input for my mic audio.

I never could get a USB mic sound that good or respond. I have a soundblaster card. The mic is a logitech mic you can get at Walmart for 14.95. Works great plug direct into the sound card.
