Dead-on appraisal, Tim. Just because somebody does something with Linux in a commercial environment does not mean they will necessary be good businesspeople, or even good at all. Heck, the NSA _AND_ the PRC are using Linux. I'll bet they have a few choice words to describe each other's morals.
Sure, most users of Linux in the past have worked and shared their work with others, to the bettermen of the community. But now, we are getting what we asked for: Linux in the business world. For those too young to remember, the Internet was once a place where only geeks and computer nerds dwelt, and all was well.
