Yes (phpgroupware, Apache/PHP/Perl/*SQL--basically you've got a
great framework already)
John- I think you should check out Courier as your MTA
(http://courier-mta.org). It uses maildirs, supports SQL-based
accounting and storage, has integrated groupware calendar, webmail,
custom filters, mailing-list management, fax serving, and web-based
administration.
