That static business ip is looking good from here. I can't log into my Linux box from school anymore even using hostname.cox.net. That's been my whole deal being able to get to my files from any machine. Can't do that easily from windows without a third party program. I would hate for someone to hack an FTP client for windows and get full access to my machine. I'm not aware of chrooting in windows. Anyways, I don't think I will upgrade unless someone else gets the business ip and says it works great. Considering I may still have problems loading webpages with a static ip. - You never can tell with Cox. I haven't been too active trying to get in touch with Cox. I will wait a couple of months to let them iron things out. Then hopefully they will have their [EMAIL PROTECTED]& straight. John, if you do go static, let us know how it works :)
BTW, I haven't been able to make it to any meetings to meet you guys because I have a PSYC class Monday nights from 6 - 9. Any suggestions?
