Just now catching up on my 400+back log of BRLUG e-mail........... nice to see that there is a newbie night now.
Anyhow........ the only thing that sucks more than COX internet in BR is owning a TIVO. It seems as though most of the TIVO units purchased about a year ago are having HD crash problems. I have two (sequencial serial numbers) and they have both died. What sucks is that it's about $199 to fix / upgrade them. Then the new Upgrade does not allow you to easily "hack" them. The versions I have (had) 1.3 allows you do achieve a bash shell via a term program and the serial port on the back of the unit. Oh well............. just more great technology for you.
