Thanks Tim,

I was looking at a site that sells you a 80G drive w/ the TIVO software on it 
already so it's pretty much plug and play.  I was going to get a second HD 
locally and dd the other drive to it. (Hey, I paid for the software once 
already right?).  

I was hoping to clone the 2nd working drive, however it die on me before I 
could make the switch.
