I don't actually own a copy of Quake, though I am interested in
downloading/installing the free version(s). I know that Q1 is free, but I
thought I heard that Q2 is free also. Is that correct?

What other games would be fun to play at a Linux LAN party? I've played
FreeCiv a few times, but only against the AI. I've played Empire a lot in
the past, but a fun multiplayer game would take days/weeks. :P
