Well in the spirit of D&D like games, I'd like to remind people of Neverwinter Nights, which sounds like a damn fine game. And it'll be released for linux at the same time as the windows version. Linux versions coming to the party late is what usually spells their doom, if you ask me.
I have a windows partition, and I don't like waiting, even though I think Linux is a great OS. Now, if given the choice, I would purchase the linux version of any game, if I don't own it already. Neverwinter will let you design your own world and adventures, and then play the Dungeon Master by running a server with the world you created on it. Neverwinter servers are topping out at 64 players in testing. But that's not such a bad thing after all, I'd hate to DM for 64 people, let alone anymore. Plus it comes with a single player version, with an intriguing plot (or so they say) and all. > > From: Dustin Puryear <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > Date: 2002/02/16 Sat PM 11:17:30 EST > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: [brluglist] Monthly Meetings + Newbie night > > Now this is cool stuff.
