Hi ALL, First of all, I wish to "Thank" ALL the members of the BRLUG-list for their being so helpful and understanding of newbies. [IMHO] you guys (and gals) are the "GREATEST!" A lot of that comes from the fact that a lot of you are Amateur Radio Op's, but more on that later.
Now, is there a website that I can go to to look up all the acronyms that y'all are using? Is there a chance that a newbie list could be set-up to maybe help those of us who are NOT sysadmins or "gurus"? When I get home fromn work, my poor, arthritic, fingers are sore from pounding on this keyboard until 7 PM. Then, they get a workout trying to go thru all the Linux books I have trying to find what y'all are talking about. LOL! I have "questions", but the guy at Radio Shack didn't HAVE the answers to Linux, Hihi! Many a night, I have gone to sleep trying to find an acronym mentioned on the list. 8-) That brings me to an Off Topic subject: How many of you are Ham radio Ops? If you have a General class license, I need you call sign and to know if you have 75 meter or 40 meter set-ups. PSK-31? Please e-mail me privately to [EMAIL PROTECTED] If there are enough of us, maybe we could start a 75 meter or 40 meter "local" Linux net, hihi! My callsign is KA5LQJ...King Ace 5 Lucky Queens & Jacks. My name is DON..... "Double Or Nothing", it goes with the poker hand. ROFL! I have some trees that need to be 'trimmed', then a Delta Loop is going up. Uh Oh, the boss just handed me some work orders, so........ till then, "Cap'n Buck" (KA5LQJ)
