Here is a link to a list of Engineering type
applications, in RPM format:

http://rpmfind.net/linux/RPM/ASP/Applications_Engineering.html

Note that an app, called Qcad is listed. Here's the
home page for Qcad: http://www.qcad.org. Costs about
$160. Says it runs on a variety of platforms,
including M$-Windows, so non-Linux users can try it
out easily. I just started a download of the
M$-Windows version and it is dog-slow (0.9KB/sec).
_If_ I can get it downloaded, I'll put a copy on the
web somewhere.
