1. Open Office 1.0 for Linux & win32
2. Mozilla for Linux & win32
3. Cygwin
4. RUTE Guide
5. Some games

In fact, I've put together a CD of something like this
and would like some volunteers to test it out.

1. (I like your suggestion) Make free and open source
software as accessible as books in a public library.
2. Inform and educate the public library system about
the mission and benefits of free and open source
software.
3. Create a network of public library "adoptors" (via
LUGs) to decentralize the distribution and costs of
providing free and open source software to libraries.
4. Create a website/database to facilitate item 3.
5. Provide support via LUGs local to targeted public
libraries.

Hmmm... public libraries use "Read a book." How about
"Free your computer."?

I'm working on this and trying to arrange a meeting
with the Gonzales Public Library. I can do either
evenings or a Saturday. Would a Saturday be good for
other PLLUG members?
