I really don't get the point of stripping down a full-featured
distribution to expose to new users. Wouldn't we want to provide the
most useful suite of software available?

minimum size Mandrake install, I thought it was about
65 MB. I wonder how much effort it would take to rip
the required files from the distribution and then

it, I am not sure I should have mentioned it. ;)
