I think that what was originally intended was that we get everything that 
might be needed by most users onto one disc.  A full-blown distribution is my 
preference, however, there is a lot of software that comes with many 
distributions that most people will never use.  

Consider this: Which is more intimidating, too many choices or no choice at 
all?  It can be argued both ways.  Do your average users really want ten 
window managers from which to choose? Maybe....maybe not.  The answer is not 
readly apparent in my mind.  There are quite a few variables that must be 
considered before making a final decision regarding the software that is made 
available to everyone via our public library system.
