Dustin: I assume it is a local area network as the offices are on the same property.
You can use Cisco Catalyst 2900 XL (24 ports) switches with 100BaseFX Switch Modules. You will need one switch on each end of the fiber. Each switch will need to be equipped with a fiber switch module (in this case, 100BaseFX Switch Module). The switch modules provide the necessary fiber connectivity. Here is a link to Catalyst 2900 XL: http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/si/casi/ca2900xl/index.shtml I don't think you will need CSU/DSU unless you are terminating a T1 or such circuits. If this is an extension/upgrade of an existing network all you should need is a switch with fiber modules. Nash At 10:51 AM 8/20/2002 -0500, you wrote: >Anyone worked with fiber before?
