Depends upon the switches and/or the length of the run.  Shorts runs are
east...long runs you just make sure that you're output signal - signal drop
due to connections and fiber (per foot) > the sensitivity of the switches.
All will be in units of Db of sorts. I've designed a fiber lan years ago and
we use 100FX over where I work.
