By all means, bring your CDs. We should present all of the major choices, no?
My mirror works AOK. I tested it out yesterday. I still use a CD as a kickoff, but it gets basedebs and everything else from ftp. A fast CDROM might be quicker, but ftp is less work than feeding CDs.
