Yeah, it would be silly to move the screen from the $66 laptop, unless that was the only thing that worked. Check out the seller's feedback and read the negative coments to see if there is anything wrong with them.
John, you should know better than me, I've only peeked at the wires and plugs of an old 486 laptop, are there any common, higher level plugs for LCD display units that might be analogous to a normal VGA adaptor?
