I was in Albequerque recently and went to their Natural History Museum. It was outstanding! There is a lot of local interest in fossiles and the like there, so it is well supported. Oh, and eat the pizza.
Seattle? When are you leaving? My daughter lives there, I can ask her. Vancouver? You have to contact Jon and Tal at Libranet. If possible, I would like to give you a small Cajun Care Package to deliver for me. They will know about anything worth doing in the area. Tal is the top listing on this page. Aside from Tal, one of the core developers from Libranet, they are listed alpha->zed. I know there are some cool whale viewing tours, but they are dependant of the migratory patterns. There are chartered fishing tours as well, but my future son-in-law tells me it is the same there as here, only one in ten are worth hiring, and they stay booked-up. http://www.gomdoli.com/libranetusers/ > > I should also be keeping my online journal up to > date on things for the > trip if anyone is interested > (http://mat_branyon.livejournal.com) > > Thanks All, > --mat > > > _______________________________________________ > General mailing list > [email protected] > http://brlug.net/mailman/listinfo/general_brlug.net > ===== Warmest Regards, Doug Riddle http://www.dougriddle.com If it ain't broken, you haven't let me test it long enough.
