Oh yeah... you can also drive by (or visit, but not worth it) the place where the old movie "The Birds" was filmed... Also, part of the movie "Forever Young" was filmed at the Point Arena lighthouse along Hwy 1 which is worth the trip for the scenery... Hwy 1 is some of the most scenic roadway in America. There is always Yosemite if you have time... http://www.sroddy.com/CA-2003/Page1.html Everyone should visit this place once in their life. It is an absolutely awesome experience especially if you can get a chance to hike to the top of Half Dome and stand on the edge of a 1+ mile vertical drop over the valley floor. You have to be in shape though... Also, the 2 mile altitude can get to some of us flatlanders...
