The last time I checked (several months ago) the Bellsouth account had no port blocks (it's a nominally DHCP IP address but it doesn't change unless I reboot the modem). The EAtel account is a block of 8 static IPs with no port blocks - they have excelent tech support people and the service is very reliable
DSLreports shows the Bellsouth line at 1204/211kbps - I haven't tested the EAtel line but we run a mail server, web server, DNS and FTP and have SSH access. My impression is that the EAtel service is slightly faster. Edmund Cramp
