That's interesting.  I did not have to unplug it and it never stopped working.  
While it had the weird address I pinged LSU and got a valid IP address back.  
Pumping it seemed to do the trick.

No black helicopters landed.  They were all busy with two other LSU students.  
They were inspecting the computer they took away from an LSU grad student a 
few weeks ago.  They were also busy grilling an abnormal psych student and 
cardiology tech who downloaded kiddie porn to her computer at work and on 
campus.  They will come get me, I assume, when I pull something like those 
poor dummies in Toledo who figured out how to undo their modem's crimp.  
Raid, confiscation and federal charges all came out of that one.  The grad 
student is not in hot water, except for the fact that a large chunk of his 
work and one of his tools is gone.  The FBI says he was owned and they should 
know.  Big Brother is watching and they do send in the B team.

Browsing the IP was neat.  It's logs are overflowed and I can't make any sense 
out of the time stamps, but it does show a few of the things it does.
