Well, I was hoping to put it up in the attic. I don't
think a PC would do too well up there.
But, as Ray pointed out, the SOHO router might not do
too well either.
The problem is that I don't want a bunch of cables
going from the router back into the wall to feed the
network to other rooms in my house. Putting the
network devices in the attic would save me from a lot
of cabling. However, it looks like it can't be
avoided, as the devices might not last long in the
heat of the attic.
