Brad,
You make a good point, but just navigating the net to
get to the support forums they want will be a huge
learning curve for them.
Note that the CACRC are still Linux newbies
themselves. Suse would make a fine distribution for
someone with a bit more computer knowhow than the user
base David is targetting.
I think it would be best to consider these target PCs
as something like a game console with little to no
technical support needed. Hence my recommendation of
Feather Linux. If some smart kid gets tired of Feather
Linux and wants more, then the world of open source is
there waiting, and they can find Suse and the others
themselves.
