Although KDE is a bit heavy, I think it's a great desktop. But the differences between Gnome and KDE get blurry when Redhat does things like build the same exact theme on top of both of them. Still there is one thing I am able to do with KDE that, the last time i tried, I could not do with Gnome. With KDE I can add a shortcut on my toolbar that gives me a list of files in a folder. Then I can click on of those files, which is a exe (sort of) and that program opens. What I use this for, I have folders with separate files for links to RDesktops, ssh terminals and RConJ terminals. I have not been able to reproduce this with Gnome. Granted I haven't tried it for at least a couple years. Does anyone know if this is possible? BB
