it is a bit more expensive than others but worth it. Make sure to request the Linux package. I believe they offer windows by default. You get ssh and scp access. Databases and Apache is in different machines and can be accessed from the internal network for the application itself of form the web if you would like to use something like mysqlcc. This guys have an outstanding technical support and are willing to help you with problems as far as digging in you scripts. BTW, I am in no way associated with this people. However, everytime a customer needs webhosting this is were they go and settle. The oldest client I have is already going into their 6th year. Also, if you pay in advance you get to have your domain name for free. I believe they do registrations themselves.
