Gotta go with UT2004.  It's linux client is awesome and it's around $10
bucks now.  Bioshock is simply an awesome game but it requires a hefty pc
(it of course requires windows).

I certainly respect the designers and programmers of Nexuiz and Alien
Attack.... it's just that when they bolt bump mapping and specular lighting
onto the Q3 and Q2 engines, performance suffers in some spots.  I expect
games running on the Q3 engine to get a minimum of 60 FPS on my machine (C2D
2.8ghz, 7800GTX) and it just doesn't.
