Get a domain name pointed there you cheap bastard!

Ok... joking aside, if I understand your problem correctly (I only
skimmed this thread so far), Will, you can easily get a free domain
name from someone like dynip, dyndns, or whatever pointed to your home
server.  Cox is just making an effort to protect their mindless
windows users from the latest round of storm virus greeting cards from
the sounds of it.  I'm not going to argue with you which is more
important, allowing you to send a link to your IP address, or
protecting a few thousand clueless users from the storm worm because I
know you would not be willing to concede that anything other than an
unrestricted net is the way to go, damn the consequences.
