I also have the freedom to lobby for real competition.  How about Baton Rouge 
opens the public servitude to other providers like Time Warner, Quest, Google 
and anyone else who wants it?  

Everyone, even Cox, would be better off if ISPs had to compete.  Back when Cox 
first blocked ports, a tech told me that they had been forced to do so by M$, 
AOL and other big players.  Those big players would not be able to bully Cox 
around if they were forced to compete with each other.

Exclusive franchises suck life.
