I am running UNIX (well Linux but its close enough) on my desktop with a standard and friendly GUI.... Of course I'm running MS Office for testing Java generated XLS files on my UNIX desktop all managed by a nice window manager that does what I like. Whenever office crashes on the latest POI miscreation it can be easily moved out of the way. I'm glad Microsoft is around and evil like they want to be. Makes life more fun. Wish they'd stop making server stuff...or learn to make a good one...but *shrug*... oh well. nothing is ever perfect ;-) -Andy > > > -- > > "They that give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety > deserve neither liberty nor safety." > - Benjamin Franklin > > > -- > To unsubscribe, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > For additional commands, e-mail: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > -- http://www.superlinksoftware.com http://jakarta.apache.org/poi - port of Excel/Word/OLE 2 Compound Document format to java http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4487555.html - fix java generics!
