9/11 had nothing to do with that. The fact that the US govt couldn't communicate intradepartmentally, nevermind, interdepartmentally, is what caused it. And once again, i've yet to see any evidence indicating that Iraq has any plans to directly attack the US. I'd call Al Qaeda a clan. They're certainly not a country, or a governing body. What about South & Central American drug cartels? I don't see us overrunning the governments of Mexico or Columbia in an effort to stamp them out.
